Once upon a time in Mexico Paige Alms, Cori Barnick and Jaysea DeVoe teamed up to celebrate their favorite things–surfing, yoga, photography, stoke and wellness–by making live, on-the-spot creations with the Queen of Collage, Susan Wickstrand. Below, watch the film of these fearless females as they cross-step the line between life as art and art as life — but first, they let us know what their bliss is and how they vow to pursue it relentlessly!

“My bliss is traveling to remote locations and surfing waves that most don’t want anything to do with 🙂 I believe in the story telling process of the adventure and through sharing the story you can inspire others to seek out their own passions and make them a part of their daily life.” – Paige Alms, Professional Surfer

“The ocean is like my home, and that’s where I find my bliss. The energy that water shares is like nothing other on earth. My lifestyle revolves around the sea, and it has always pulled me back. Sharing the things I love on the water has connected me with other likewise women who share the same passion for the ocean. It can simply uplift our spirits with a simple paddle in the morning or a glass off surf. That can leave us so inspired by each other and nature. I always leave feeling the deepest gratitude for the sea and the connection I have to it. It is the place I can always come to to find my state of bliss.” – Jaysea DeVoe, Yoga Teacher and Entrepreneur

“I think that my bliss would have to be when I find a feeling of, not only acceptance of, but empowerment in being my own unique self. This could mean coming to terms with a certain trait or ‘flaw’ that I have by nature, or taking ownership of an innate talent, passion or intuition. When I encounter a moment of realization that we are all here with our own divine gifts and unique beauty, myself included, that is my experience of bliss. And yes, finding bliss in the acceptance and celebration of myself, exactly as I am, helps me to find that same feeling of pure love and acceptance of others, exactly as they are.” – Cori Barnick, Surfer and Photographer

“My bliss has been creating original artworks for over 30 years now. I’m happiest when making art and I have a passion for Collaging women surfing. To me, it looks like they are dancing on the water. I try to capture some magical moments via my artworks and then my joy is doubled when others seem to appreciate it too. I’m a very grateful lady for this life we all get to enjoy.” – Susan Wickstrand, Mixed Media Artist
