Dancing for just 30 minutes burns as much as 250 calories, which is equivalent to the same amount of calories you would burn while jogging – and it’s so much more fun! Whether it’s hip hop, Latin, break dancing, ballroom, or you just make up your own moves, you’ll have a great time getting into shape when you dance. So go ahead, turn up the music and feel the groove!

Surf the Waves
Surfing isn’t only fun and refreshing; it’s also an excellent way to get in shape. You’ll also workout your core and legs while you’re balancing on the board and riding those waves. Plus, while you’re out in the sun, you’ll soak up plenty of vitamin D, a vital nutrient for strengthening the bones. So, go ahead and grab a board if you want to reap some totally tubular physical gains.

Train with Your Pet
Spending quality time with your furry friend offers so many benefits, including a good workout. Take your dog to a training class or bring him in your backyard or to a dog park to work on some basic training.
Not only will your dog become more obedient, but all of the running, jumping and walking you’ll do together will get you both in shape.

Head to the Playground
If you have kids, instead of sitting on a bench when you take them to the playground, take advantage of the equipment yourself. Climbing up ladders, crossing monkey bars, balancing on a balance beam and even swinging will work out various muscle groups and increase your heart rate. You’ll get in a great workout, and you and your kids will get to have tons of fun enjoying some quality play time together.
