Rebecca is a Yoga Instructor, Registered Massage Therapist, wife, mom, car-signing entrepreneurial, tropical weather-loving, barefoot woman!
She is the owner of a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic & yoga studio in the heart of her city, where she shares her passion for movement, mindfulness, and anatomy with her community.
Rebecca grew up spending many hours at the Taoist Tai Chi Society with her family observing and soaking in the movement and the energy it created. She was unaware just how much of an impact it had on her until her teen years when she discovered that movement was an incredible source of peace. Yoga became a place that she could quiet her mind and simply be. Rebecca and yoga fell in love.
Her fascination with anatomy began early on. At family dinners as a child, she would often run around with her “massage business” charging her family a few pennies to rub their shoulders. She was able to feel and understand, and make her family feel better- and to a very young Rebecca – this was real magic. Unbeknownst, this was the beginning of her training for what would become her career, in braille.
Rebecca’s passion and joy for yoga are palpable and infectious! With her intuitive understanding of the body and creative engaging teaching style, she strives for all of her students to feel supported throughout her classes, mind body and spirit. Through asana, pranayama, and meditation, she will guide her students to tap into a sense of inner calm and self-acceptance.
Rebecca likes to take time to feel the beauty of the, “in between” when moving through practice – because after all, life is more about the journey than the destination!
